During unknown dates during the Second Age of the Consortium, a group of mages opposed the (then current) Nine High Mages of the Consortium. These mages, according to historical documents, were powerful enough in their magiks as to be seen as a serious threat to the Nine High Mages.
At an unknown date, the Eyes of Munin informd the Nine High Mages that they Cabal would be involved in both their and the Consortium's downfall.
